Frequently Asked Questions:

What is Dance the Magic?

Dance the Magic is a company that partners with the Disneyland Resort to give dancers from all around the world a once in a lifetime opportunity to dance in the theme parks!

We register with Dance the Magic in order to bring the parade choreography and class to straight to you! We are one of the only studios in Orange County currently participating in this program.

What does the experience cost?

The cost varies each year. There are two fees. 1) Class session fee through your participating city for a 10-12 week course. 2) Parade Performer Fee – as assigned by Dance the Magic.

What do I receive with my parade performer fee?

Along with memories sure to last a lifetime, your parade package includes: your dancer’s Disneyland Park Ticket, parade down Main Street, U.S.A, VIP Dancer Lanyard, Credential, Pin & T-shirt, a professional parade rehearsal with Dance the Magic Staff, 8×10 individual performer photo, and memory DVD of your DTM experience!

Dancers must be 7 years of age at the time of registration. Dancers 7 and 8 years of age must provide a copy of their birth certificate.

Is previous dance experience required?

The parade routine is fast paced and increasing in difficulty every year. We highly recommend having dance experience before registering for the event. Suggested classes include: coming soon!

Disney reserves the right to pull a performer from the parade on the day of the event.

What do dancers learn in class?

Along with learning the parade choreography for the route, dancers will learn parade style and technique while building cardiovascular stamina and strength required to successfully complete the approximately 20 minute parade route.

We will provide choreography videos, notes and music for dancers to practice at home as a supplement to class.
