Miss Amber | Dance Instructor
Amber has been dancing 15 years. She recently completed a BA in Dance and a BS in Mechanical Engineering at University of California, Irvine.
She grew up dancing ballet and flamenco in Santa Barbara up until she graduated high school in 2011. During this time she was able to perform in many ballet classics including the Nutcracker, La Bayadere,Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake, Romeo and Juliet, and many more. She was also able to perform in Santa Barbara’s Old Spanish Days Fiesta which consists of about 30 performances during one week each year with crowds up to 10,000 people. Once she got to UCI her focus shifted to be on modern, jazz and ballet with an emphasis in modern.
Amber also has a lot of experience working with and teaching young children. With two younger sisters, she began babysitting when she was just 10 years old. Her babysitting jobs soon turned into summer camps which later turned into dance camps. She started working as a dance teacher at her studio when she was 16. Additionally she has had experience teaching violin and tutoring children on math, english, science, and social studies. Amber loves having the opportunity to work with children on a regular basis and hopes to spread her love of dance to those around her.
