Miss Taryn| Dance Instructor
Taryn is currently a senior at Chapman University, studying BFA Dance Performance with a minor in Leadership Studies. After graduating, she plans on pursuing a career that is both fulfilling to others and herself.
Within her training, Taryn has been able to work with incredible professionals who have inspired her both in dance and life. She has worked with Julianne O’Brien, Wilson Mendieta, Will Johnston, Jennifer Backhaus. Also, Taryn had the opportunity to study Cunningham technique and improvisation abroad at University of Roehampton in London. In the summer of 2019, she continued her travels to Israel and trained with Batsheva Dance Company, Kibbutz Contemporary Dance, and Vertigo Dance Company. She has taught and choreographed at many studios in California. Taryn enjoys seeing her students improve and grow as she mentors them through finding their voices.
When Taryn is not teaching dance, she continues to teach within a Pilates studio as she is certified in Balance Body and Synergetic Pilates. Taryn loves to fuse her leadership skills within various environments and opportunities in the world and can’t wait to see where her creative career takes her.
