
Beginning Ballet
Beginning dancers focus on terminology, positions, and movements with emphasis on self-discipline, alignment and poise through barre and center/across the floor work in this structured class. Suitable for those continuing from younger ballet or combo class, have had little dance experience or are new to ballet and wanting to explore this beautiful art form. Wear leotard, tights, and ballet shoes.
"Frozen" Princess Ballet
Do you feel that winter chill? Dancers will be introduced to the fundamentals of ballet and creative movement with an element of fun and fantasy. Dancers will use props, hear stories from “Frozen” and dance to songs from the movie and other princess favorites. Ballet shoes required. A cash material fee is due to the instructor at the first class meeting.
Hip Hop Jazz & Tumble
Hip Hop promotes individualism, confidence, rhythm and sports ability. In this fun, energetic class, dancers learn beginning jazz, hip hop and basic tumbling that are incorporated into dance combinations. Sneakers or dance shoes required.
Tap, Jazz & Ballet Combo
Children involved in dance develop improved spatial awareness, rhythm and listening skills. This beginning class introduces tap, jazz, ballet and dance terminology mixed with creative movement, props and fun. Perfect for those wanting to try multiple styles! Ballet and tap shoes required.
