Leanna has 12 years of teaching experience and is an instructor for all ages and dance styles. She graduated from Vanguard University with her bachelors degree in Theatre Arts with an emphasis in Musical Theatre. Her years of experience on the stage have given her a well-versed knowledge bank for various dance styles. Her specialties being Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Ballroom, and Swing dancing.
She has choreographed and assistant choreographed numerous shows, some of which include Shrek the Musical and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolored Dream Coat.
In addition to her expansive experience in dance, she is also passionate about teaching vocal performance skills, acting technique, and audition preparation. Her experience covers anything from Shakespearean drama to slapstick comedy.
Leanna has been teaching with OC Dance Productions for over 2 years and has a passion for her students’ success. She enjoys serving a challenge and standing by her students until they see themselves succeed.
Leanna taught her first dance class when she was 12 years old.
Leanna works at a ballroom studio in Newport Beach and choreographs hundreds of wedding dances every year.
Some of her favorite productions she’s performed in include: Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Chava in Fiddler on the Roof, and Scuttle in Disney’s The Little Mermaid.

**In-person lessons will require outdoor space (e.g. yard, garage, etc.). Public areas (e.g. public parks, community centers, etc.) are not permitted.
Available for In-Person or Virtual Private and Small Group Lessons in the Following Genres – Acting, Audition Prep, Ballroom (swing, Latin, smooth), Hip Hop, Jazz, Shakespeare, Tap (beginning, intermediate, and advanced)
- You must register for at least 4 weeks of lessons. Small-Group lessons meet once a week for 45 minutes. You choose your dates and times during registration! You can purchase additional weeks throughout the Fall if you’d like to continue after your first set of lessons conclude.
- When booking a small group (either virtual or in-person) the registering parent is responsible for paying for the group in full at the time of registration. It is the responsibility of the registering parent to collect payment (either reimbursement or before registering) from the parents of additional children in the group.
- If more children are present than included in your purchase selection the registering parent will be responsible for paying for the additional children before the lesson starts, plus a $10 fee.
