Join Us in Donating Dance Clothes and Costumes to Children All Over the World!

This is our year of giving back! Through our May recital, “Dancespirations”, we want to inspire our dancers to not only shine on stage but in life through acts of kindness! We know as our young dancers grow, new dance clothes are a must! Instead of throwing away old leotards, tights, dance shoes, and recital costumes we encourage our dancers to donate them to kids in need! OC Dance is proud to support Traveling Tutus, an organization which redistributes donated dance clothes and costumes to children across the world who enjoy expressing themselves through the art of dance!

Here’s how you can help! If you have any gently used leotards, tights, dance skirts (non-tutu, just wrap), ballet, tap or jazz shoes, or old recital costumes you no longer can use or wish to keep, we are collecting them for Traveling Tutus after the “Dancespirations” Show.

If you have any of the above for any age, boy or girl, and wish to donate them to provide dance clothes for kids around the world less fortunate that our dancers, we ask that you please do the following:

1. You may bring these gently used clothes, shoes or costumes to your teacher on your class day between now and our show on May 18th. Your teachers will hand it to Miss Kim in May.

OR

2. Please bring these same items to recital on May 18th to donate. We will have a large donation box near the flower and DVD sales in the foyer. You may place any of them here, please.

We will then compile all items collected and ship them to Traveling Tutus courtesy of OC Dance in the name of our amazing, totally adorable and compassionate dancers. If your dancer wishes to make a drawing or a card, feel free to drop it into the donation box and we will include those as well!
