(Spring)ing Forward

We just finished our Rockin’ Winter Wonderland Recital (GREAT SUCCESS, a huge thanks to everyone that made it possible) and have yet to get through our winter holiday season, but OCDP is excited to announce our Spring American DANCEstand Recital this upcoming June 2013.
This variety show will feature different dance and musical acts; street-style hip hoppers, the cutest honky tonk cowgirls, enchanting ballerinas, snazzy jazz dancers, swinging tappers, and more!

The cities that are participating in the upcoming recital are Irvine, Fountain Valley, RSM*, Lake Forest, Orange and Laguna Niguel. The classes that are eligible to perform are any technique classes that are ages 3+ (princess pre-ballet, tot/beg/int ballet & hip hop, combo classes, musical theatre, all-in-one dance, pop star hip hop, and lyrical)

If your dancer has an interest in taking a class and participating in the recital but you are not sure if the class is eligible, please email us at info@ocdanceproductions.com

Preparing for the Spring Recital, here’s what you need to do:
1.Enroll into the Winter 2013 session (enrollment is open now)
classes are 8,10, and two 5 week sessions. If your class is a two 5 week session, you need to have your dancer enrolled into both sessions.

City of Irvine
City of Fountain Valley
City of Laguna Niguel
City of Orange
City of Lake Forest
City of Rancho Santa Margarita*

*OCDP does not have a ‘winter 2013’ session for the city of RSM, therefore, participants enrolling for the Spring/March 2013 session may participate.

2. You will also need to enroll your dancer into the Spring 2013 session(s), in which you will provide the proof of enrollment to your instructor when requested to ensure that your dancer holds his/her spot in class for the spring session and does not become waitlisted. The instructor/OCDP staff will notify you when the Spring schedule is available, and when enrollment is open.
3. Upon your dancer starting his/her winter session class, the instructor will provide you with recital information either in class, via email, or both; and this will include the commitment form.
4. You will need to provide the fee of $50 for the costume along with the signed commitment form to the instructor by the deadline (TBD)
5.Some notes:

-We 100% abide to the deadline and can not accept recital participants after that date due to OCDP needing to place the extensive costume order in a timely manner.

-Any dancers that enroll solely into the Spring 2013 session will be unable to participate because it will be past the deadline**

-By signing the commitment form you agree to the terms of the recital and garnishing the non-refundable $50 fee (that goes towards just purchasing the costume)

**With the exception of the city of RSM dancers, due to the session starting in March 2013.
