Welcome to the New OC Dance Productions Website!

Welcome to the new Orange County Dance Productions! We’ve grown so much, won some awards and had so much fun in the last few years we decided it was time for a facelift. We are still the same OC Dance parents and kids love but are excited to unveil our new logo, charitable partnership, and entertainment segment of OCDP. Let’s take a look!

As much as we loved our recognizable OC logo we wanted it to have a more creative and modern look. Above is our new logo and look brainstormed by our Director, Kim Downey, and then designed and brought to life by the amazing Alyse Shultz (above).

Next, we made our site more to the needs of our growing parent clientele. Our site is now separated into easy tabs based on your location and class interest. We also have your favorite instructors listed and an accessible schedule to see where your favorite teachers are each session. Thanks to Nathanael, our amazing website designer, everything is clearly laid out and easy to locate.

We also now have links to register for your classes online as well as recital bookings over the web if preferred. To register for classes just click on your city and then on the “Book Now” button to register directly at your location in advance so your spot is locked in. This is extremely helpful for recital and returning dancers as we all know classes do fill up quickly.

We are extremely excited to announce something we have wanted to do for a long time which is partner with a non-profit that teaches children from a very young age to give back in their communities, the advantages of kindness and activities and events for kids that help squash bullying in their local areas. Our children are fantastic, artistic, incredible human beings and this was the perfect way for us to celebrate them and offer resources outside of class to help them understand what consistent philanthropy looks like in their lives.

With the Infinite Smile Project partnership we are offering these free resources and activities starting at age 3 up to age 18. Yes, even age 3 can be empowered to give back in their community and make an impact. These resources and Ambassador programs help cultivate kindness, giving, teamwork and an sense of confidence and pride – all of which work against bullying by making our kids more resilient and compassionate to others. It is our goal to encourage kids and parents all over the southland to participate. As the old saying goes – there is power in numbers and kids can make all the difference in our world and especially in our local communities.

Lastly, we would like to introduce our new entertainment sector of OC Dance Productions – OC Princess Productions. We have hired the most trained costumers, wig and make- up specialists, and training staff to bring amazing characters to your events starting in March 2015. Our entertainment segment will be different than the standard party entertainment available in SoCal as our characters will be teaching the children about the most important characteristic of a princess – being kind.

Our entertainment sector will also be partnering with the Infinite Smile Project incorporating subtle lessons in kindness during their appearances. Packages and prices are listed here. and 15% of all parties purchased go to children’s anti-bullying and leadership programs. Photos and characters to be unveiled in March 2015. We will have special grand opening rates for OCDP dancers only in late March so mark your calendars!

December 2014 Dance the Magic at Disneyland Parade

As always, Dance the Magic parade at Disneyland registration will be open in March for our Newport Beach training camp. Summer camp registration opens in March and April for Irvine and Newport and May for all our other locations. Looking forward to seeing you all there!
